President’s Corner

         Wow, where did 2008 go! It's hard to believe we're already into 2009.  Hopefully the fall and holiday season treated you well.

        In looking to the future, please keep the annual MMPA convention in mind.  Missoula and Arlee will share the hosting responsibilities for our 22nd annual gathering.  Thursday's events will take place at Rick's Kustom Kut in Arlee, and the remainder of the functions will be centered in Missoula.  A thank you to John Peterson and Rick Johnson for all their efforts!

        Also, keep in mind the upcoming election of officers and directors.  Our association is very fortunate to have directors and officers that care so deeply about our trade.  I encourage anyone who has interest in serving as a director to "throw your hat into the ring" and express our desire to another MMPA member.

        To wrap it up, let's strive to make the coming months and years the very best for our businesses and our association.  I hope to see all of you in Missoula, April 23-26, 2009.
